We are very pleased that our doctoral researcher Kathrin Hansen is one of this year’s award winners of the Alma Rosé Prize, which is awarded annually by the Austrian Society for Contemporary History. Kathrin Hansen is being honored for her master’s thesis “Keine Tasse kein Bett – kein Raum: Interaktion von Raum und Akteur*innen am Beispiel der Wohnungszerstörungen im Rahmen der Novemberpogrome am 9. November 1938″ submitted at Humboldt University Berlin. The award ceremony will take place on November 17 at 6 p.m. in the Historic Ancestral Hall of the Federal Monuments Office at the Hofburg in Vienna.
