Earned a BA degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Freiburg, including an Erasmus exchange semester at University College Maastricht. Completed a MA in Social Policy at the University of Bremen, specializing in the cultural history and sociology of European Labor Markets. During studies, worked as a student assistant at both universities on various research projects and served as writer and editor for the University College Freiburg’s student magazine Jack. Following graduation, worked for four years as an archive producer on documentary-film projects, researching audio‑visual material and archival documents for historical documentaries covering subjects such as forced labor in NS-Germany, the biography of Golda Meir and the founding of the State of Israel, and the establishment and fall of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
