Academic CV

Laura Josefine Schilling is a PhD Candidate at the Leipzig University and is working as a Research Associate at the IRTG “Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond.”

Studied Applied Theatre and Curatorial Studies in Gießen, Zagreb and Frankfurt am Main and  worked as a freelance educator and curator. 2019 – 2022 M.A. in Curatorial Studies at the Goethe-University Frankfurt, Subject of Master’s thesis: “Kunst der Erinnerung. Jochen Gerz' Installation EXIT. Das Dachau-Projekt (1972/1974) im Kontext von Musealisierungs- und Erinnerungsdiskursen zur Gedenkstätte Dachau in den 1970er Jahren“; Awarded the Kopper Graduate Prize of the Department of History. 2015-2019 B.A. in Applied Theatre Studies at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen.
