PhD candidate at the International Research Training Group (IRTG) “Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond”. Graduated from the program for Cultural Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2025). Subject of master’s thesis: “Minefields and Cattle guards: a material semiotics of the Golan Heights’ open spaces”. Recipient of the Hebrew University’s Rector award (2024), and the Marylin Green scholarship (2024-2025). Holds a BFA in Photography from the Bezalel academy of Art and Design Jerusalem (cum laude, 2012).
