Academic CV

From 2017 to 2022, Kathrin Hansen studied History and English studies at Humboldt-University Berlin. Pursued an MA degree in History with a focus on Contemporary History at Humboldt-University and completed her degree in 2025 with a thesis on the interaction of space and violence during the November Pogroms 1938. From 2020 to 2025 Kathrin Hansen coordinated the MA program European History at Humboldt University as a student advisor. In 2020, she conceptualized and realized the video project 75 Jahre Befreiung at NS Documentation Center for Forced Labour. Her MA thesis „Keine Tasse, kein Bett – kein Raum: Interaktion von Raum und Akteur*innen am Beispiel der Wohnungszerstörungen im Rahmen der Novemberpogrome am 9. November 1938“ won the Alma Rosé Priz 2025.
